The Iran War Is Illegal, Immoral, And Stupid

Citizens!
Like you, perhaps, we have opposed the war with Iran since Day 1. There was never a point to it, and it was illegal and immoral besides.
Illegal because it was not declared by Congress, as mandated in the Constitution. This really isn’t a bulletin, though, because Congress has not formally declared war since World War II. This means every war we have fought since then – every single one – has been illegal.
The war with Iran is immoral because, for Pete’s sake, we bombed schoolgirls, killing over 160 of them. This should make all of us want to hang our heads in a corner, it is so shameful. It is a war crime like few others that no one is being held accountable for.
The war is stupid because the US is now haggling to get the Strait of Hormuz reopened, just like it was before the war started. Think about this: we are negotiating to resume the status quo, what there was before the war. This is like negotiating to get Hitler back in power in 1945. It makes no sense. If there’s no war, the Strait of Hormuz remains open.
Donald Trump is an ignorant liar, a man of zero moral or intellectual substance, and we are being governed accordingly. He is the worst president this country has ever had.
We deserve better. We deserve common sense in these uncommon times, but we are not going to get better until we start demanding it on Election Day.
In this election, we can choose to be part of the solution or part of the problem. I’m choosing to be part of the solution. How about you?
